Knitting Projects Up for Grabs

I'm getting close to done with everything in my "for real" knitting queue, including one Secret Project. Does anyone want anything? I make no claims on speed, I think it took me two years to get to doing the squid hat for [livejournal.com profile] kelkyag,, but if it's something for someone's kid, I will certainly attempt to make it sized for the kid at the time it's done rather than the time it's requested. :)

You always seem like the right recipient for something like one of the Norwegian sweaters:

Oooh, nice. Though I probably don't need the chest-emphasizing patterning on that first one. :-)

Here are some others in the same approximate style:

I think I love "Norway", except for the high collar. I generally hate things with high collars; possibly collar should end where the one shown begins (or perhaps a few rows in).

Something like the top left collar in 47-23a. I don't know why there are 3-4 different collar designs for that one, except possibly that other people feel as I do (except with different collar opinions...).

By "top left" do you mean the one the woman is wearing on the pattern book cover? or do you mean "chrisda's Scott's Nordic sweater" in the pattern gallery, that has the two clasps?

The one the woman is wearing on the pattern book cover.

If you look further down on the Norway page, there's a blue and black one which has a lower collar (no flower), as well as calmer cuffs and bottom ribbing. Or the bottom one, which has a lower collar but keeps the extra red bits.

Yes, the blue and black one is still rather too collar-y. If the collar turns up, it's too high. :-/

Oh, the Medieval Tapestry is probably too high, then, oops. :)
But sure, "minimal collar" is easy. :)

Aw, you don't want to parade your manly physique? :>

I prefer to emphasize my height rather than the breadth of my bust. :-)

If you are up for a something like Jan's Medieval tapestry sweater again, I would love a cardiganized one like this person has done: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/yorksett/medieval-tapestry
