Knitting Projects Up for Grabs

I'm getting close to done with everything in my "for real" knitting queue, including one Secret Project. Does anyone want anything? I make no claims on speed, I think it took me two years to get to doing the squid hat for [livejournal.com profile] kelkyag,, but if it's something for someone's kid, I will certainly attempt to make it sized for the kid at the time it's done rather than the time it's requested. :)

Holy molasses, but those are ADORABLE!

Okay, those go on the queue too, then. :)

(Alas, I am pretty sure that if I attempt to make these, they'll be too un-stretchy to put on. :( )

Do you think they would work as duplicate stitch on plain socks? I've done some duplicate stitch and would be willing to try, though I should probably try a small swatch first and see if it looked okay.

Hmm. I suppose I should not completely rule out all colorwork, just get better at figuring out the amount of stretchiness required.

(I'm always kind of dubious about duplicate stitch myself, but it might work?)

I default to thinking of duplicate stitch on knitting as being like cross stitch on tunisian crochet (which people do huge projects with), but I don't know how reasonable that is. :)

Socks needing different tuning than sweaters surprises me not at all.
